White Paper Overview

In 1940, Disney released an animated movie called Fantasia, with the soundtrack being a major attraction. The intent of the movie makers was to have a sound system that would make the audience feel as though they were standing on the podium with the orchestra. To that end, they devised an elaborate system consisting of 33 microphones with 8 sound recorders and a bunch of engineers, taking 42 days and a final recording film that ran 147,000 meters in length.

Today, recording something similar might take nothing more than a flagship phone.

So how did we get here? How did the pursuit of perfect audio and miniature devices begin, and what is its current state? What does the future look like for this pursuit, especially in the age of AI? Access this white paper to answer these questions. Sign up to get your copy.
